About the Blind Company of Kansas City

We introduced the Mini-Blind Co. to the Kansas City area in 1990. Our first product lines were one-inch mini-blinds, in both vinyl and aluminum. We sold and installed these mini-blinds in multi-family homes (apartments) of Kansas City. Apartments were still utilizing drapes in the 1990s and we convinced the apartment industry to change to the vinyl and aluminum mini-blinds with great success. We were one of the first and the largest supplier of mini-blinds to the Kansas City apartment and home industry.

We introduced the two-inch wood and faux wood blinds to residential homes during the home building boom of the mid 1990s. This became very successful and resulted in tremendous growth.

Today, more than 98 percent of our home business comes directly from references from previous customers. Our attention to detail is what sets us apart and our customers love that we have the lowest prices.
